Yeah, I'm posting twice in one day. Or twice in one period of wakefulness, seeing as it's actually tomorrow and 5 in the morning. Gah.

I've been looking back at the posts I made when I was a dumb fuck - which was only about a year ago, sadly enough - and I realized what a damn flake I was on things I wanted to write. It made me a little mad at myself because I remember those story lines that I was so in love with at the time and how they're still pretty good now and I'm just a lazy ass for not getting them done. All this is just making me even more determined to finish what I've started with this monster Merlin fic. The flakiness ends here.

Don't ask me why I felt the need to post this. Don't ask me why I didn't just add it to the previous post. These are logical questions in need of sense and it's 5 in the morning.

It's a little sad that all I really have to post about is this damn fic, but when I say my brain is being taken over I'm barely being facetious.

Because now it's looking like it's going to not only be an AU of ridiculous proportions, but might just spawn a universe in my strange little mind. No no no...I don't have time for this. No time at all. NONE.

This story is taking over my damn mind. I'm huddled up in bed and really should be sleeping, but instead here I am on the internetz and writing this sprawling monster of an AU. Curses. I am, fortunately, waiting to start posting this until I'm completely finished. I hate leaving WIPs undone.

It's pouring down rain outside; I've soaked through my shoes and the bottoms of my jeans because of sneaky hidden puddles and the veritable river that's been formed in the gutter outside. I'm about to lose my mind because of exams and papers and the cacophony of things that I've put off for waaaaaay too long. They're all converging on the next three days, which are going to be rather hellish.

Now top that off with a ridiculous plot bunny that's gnawing away at my brain, begging to be written into an epic Merlin AU of gargantuan proportions.

Add a dash of caffeine and tuna salad, and you've basically got my life for the next three days. Hopefully I'll survive to actually write the story that's so occupying me. I'm researching for that instead of writing papers. :pulls out hair:

Apparently I'm using Photoshop to escape from my actual work. I suppose I wouldn't be a student unless this was true. :)

I got into college, but, of course, this good news was vastly overshadowed.

One of my best friends is being sent to Afghanistan.

And that pretty much puts a HORRIBLY PAINFUL damper on any good mood.

Seriously. As the World Turns is awesomely wonderful, as are the two cuties in my new icon...Noah and Luke. Otherwise known as Nuke. Basically the hottest thing on daytime TV. EVER. So, if you can get past some so-so dialogue and the traditional over-the-top "soap" storylines, you should check it out. Really. I might make a vid for it.

Holy crap, it's been awhile! Well, I have an excuse. I was at camp. In the heat. Ugh. And of course, because I'm stubborn and such, I have to have the same bed (in the same position, not the exact same building), and it happens to be the one with no windows and on the top. Damn me.
